For the 1st Quarter of 2021, Ralph E. Jones, Inc. (REJ) chose three community organizations to support through the donation of items from their wish lists. Harrisburg Area Humane Society received blankets, towels, pet beds, and newspaper, items always in demand. Manna Food Pantry, located at the Penbrook United Church of Christ, received cleaning supplies and paper products. Nobody’s Cats Foundation received postage stamps, laundry detergent, paper products, and wet & dry cat food. Beth Peiffer, President & CEO of Ralph E. Jones, Inc., is Board President of the Harrisburg Area Humane Society. Manna Food Pantry was chosen because it is located in the borough where our company is headquartered. Nobody’s Cats was a new organization for us but a logical choice because they do TNR (trap-neuter-release) work and we are avid cat people. Three cats live at REJ’s office while feral cats visit our property for food and shelter. We work hard to trap, neuter and release all the cats who make a home on our company’s property. We enjoyed delivering our donations to Manna Food Pantry and Nobody’s Cats. One of REJ’s core values is “Supporting the Community that Supports Us”. We have made a commitment to support 25 charities in 2021, including three Community Outreach Projects per quarter.
