🐾 Meet the REJ Rescues – Our Purr-fect Team Members

#RescuesofREJ

At Ralph E. Jones, Inc., we’ve always believed that the heart of our company is the people—and in this case, the paws—that fill our office with joy. Over the years, a few four-legged friends have claimed their own corner of REJ, bringing personality, purpose, and a touch of mischief to our daily work.

🧡 Why We Share This

At Ralph E. Jones, Inc., we’re more than a painting and coatings company—we’re a community. The REJ Kitties are part of our story, a reminder that a strong foundation of care and companionship extends beyond our projects.

It’s this same heart that we bring to every job site, every partnership, and every brushstroke.

Jonesy – The OG Office Mouser

Jonesy was rescued as a tiny kitten after being left behind by a neighbor. He quickly made himself at home and has since become our resident supervisor, cuddler, and expert mouser.

At around 9 years young, he still rules the roost from the comfort of the front office (or the shop, when Matt lets him).

Scarlett O’Hara – Lady in Black

Adopted from the Humane Society, Scarlett joined the REJ family as a tiny fluffball with a pink bell collar.  She immediately fell in love with Jonesy. These two have been inseparable ever since.

Though once shy, Scarlett now loves greeting guests in the conference room.
She especially loves it when she gets to hang out in the shop with her pals Jonesy and Scarlett.

Daisy – The People’s Kitty

Daisy was born right here on REJ property and rescued at just two weeks old. Bottle-fed and loved by our staff, she’s grown into the most social kitty of the bunch.

Always by someone’s side (and always ready for a snack), Daisy keeps spirits high—just don’t try to pick her up!

Our REJ kitty crew wouldn’t be complete without honoring the beloved cats who’ve crossed the rainbow bridge:

  • Romeo, our feral, resident “ladies’ man” and Daisy’s granddad, made his rounds between the shop and front door, greeting everyone with his signature friendliness.
  • Cassie, adopted alongside Ralphy, charmed everyone who visited the office. Her sweet spirit is missed dearly.
  • Ralphy Jones, our very first rescue, along with Cassie, stole hearts from day one. He brought comfort and company through tough times and lives on in our hearts—and social media profiles.

A memorial statue at the front of our building stands in tribute to these cherished companions.
