A second presentation by the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute will focus on the benefits of opening up your facility doors to a third party design professional to conduct a comprehensive facility condition assessment. Nobody knows the condition and functionality of a facility better than the facility manager but you may often find yourself answering the following questions after submitting a capital budget plan to the CEO: “How did you determine which projects made it on this capital budget plan? Will this budget keep the condition of our facility at the desired level? Are these construction estimates accurate?”
